I’m intrigued by the pencils. If you wanted to create an entire work in pencil with a variety of colors, would it be tedious to switch the leads? Can’t argue that it isn’t a brilliant space saver though!
The phrase "combine two weekly updates into one" is perfectly normal English, but it got the math and language parts of me wondering whether it's possible to combine two things into any number other than one. Could we go only part way and combine two things into one-and-a-half things? Or could we combine two things into three?

Oh my new supplies! I want to know more about the pencil sets. I have not done much work with colored pencils because I have not been happy with the color. Often seems dull to me or I don’t know how to use them to get more solid colors. I am excited to see and hear from you about how they work.
Hi Joanne! I'll post more about the pencil sets after I've tried them out, but so far swapping out the colors hasn't been a problem. I actually kind of like the pause because it helps keep me from overworking a piece.

Hi Steve! This reminds me of when I started grad school and had to prove 1 + 1 = 2! If memory serves it took about 40 pages!
