I vote for Ghost Ranch and be sure to stop at Bode's General Store in Abiquiu. Also take a look at Ojo Caliente Mineral Hot Springs which is on the way to Taos, though I don't remember the highway numbers for that route. I do remember that if you turn right at the little settlement at Tres Piedras the road will take you over the Rio Grande Gorge bridge as you head on to Taos. I am thrilled with your stories and pictures...you are in the place where my soul used to live!
I just saw what Suzy wrote, and second her suggestion. You are a magical part of the world. Have you toured Georgia's House yet?
Awww thanks so much, Kathy! Georgia's house is definitely on the list! Can't wait!
Have you visited Ghost Ranch yet?
Not yet, but it's on the list for sure! Can't wait!

Thanks for the tip on Bode's General Store! Ghost Ranch and Abiquiu are definitely on the list! I love it here, I don't want to leave!
Had such a fun time at the nature journaling workshop. It was great to meet you. Kathy
