Check out the Pecos area. National historic park, Pecos archaeological site, Gloriietta Pass etc. especially if weather is cooling off a bit.

Have you thought of scanning and making a book or zine of your lovely art during this residency. My friends are hiking the PCT and doing a book of their art and writing I’ve purchased several of these type books. They’re nice to keep.
