Wow, Lisa, you and J brought back many memories of our week-long stay and hikes at Grand Teton last fall. I was happy to see photos of the pronghorn - the Park's herd was decimated the winter before when heavy, deep snow prevented them from reaching food in their winter feeding grounds. Staff was afraid the herd wouldn't recover enough for adults to teach the young how and where to migrate. I pray they will recover. Safe travels.
Hi Peggy! I didn't know that about the pronghorn -- so sad. :( We did see a bunch of them though -- way more than what was shown in the photo. We've been seeing a bunch here in Yellowstone too, so hopefully all will be well.
Gosh what amazing views!! LOOOOOOOVED your writeup and the pictures you posted. Now if only you could also somehow send the smells and sounds ( or is it silence ) of these amazing spots!
I love the Tetons. Seeing your great pictures and reading about your days is wonderful. I have been to many of those places in the Tetons. It was so nice to revisit the beauty with you. We enjoyed the boat ride across Jenny lake and the climb to Inspiration Point. 7200 feet. You have many memories of the Tetons.
Yellowstone was too crowded for us. I hope you are going to Glacier. It’s awesome.
Hi Lisa,
As always, love your blog, experiences, photos and art! Also love Art Toolkit supplies!
Please tell me what camera you use to take your photos.
Happy Traveling!
Lee
Hi Lee! I just use my iphone camera! Jason got me the 16 Pro since it has a 5x zoom -- it's really come in handy for shots like the bison!
Thanks. You do have an artistic eye for photography. Love the seeing the bison.
This trip looks insane!! 🥾
It was!! We need a week to catch up but now we're at Yellowstone so we gotta keep going!

Again, lovely photos which make me homesick! Loved seeing your sketches as well!
Thanks so much, Laurie!
As always your pictures are stunning! So interesting about the bear spray! I had no idea. Following your travels is fun and educational! 🙂
Thank you! Your comment made my day!
Love your Teton painting in your sketchbook, so cool with the passport stamps! And the sunsets, wowza!! 🌄
The sunsets here have been incredible! The sun doesn't set behind the mountains until around 9 pm, and then there's color in the sky until 10!

Awww thanks, Janani!! I wish I could post the smells and sights too! Miss you my friend!

Hi Catherine! Yay for a trip down memory lane!
Yellowstone has been way too crowded for us too. We're trying to get to places as early as possible! Yellowstone itself is amazing tho!
Wonderful photos! I really liked your mountain sketch too!
Thanks so much, Dory!
